Saudi Arabian officials today banned their citizens from visiting Lebanon and asked those who are already present there to evacuate immediately, after Shiite clans threatened to kidnap Sunni Arabs.

The Saudi Police opened fire upon Shiite protestors yesterday in the Eastern Province, as the clashes between the security officials and the members of the Shiite minority escalated.
